The Arca-Swiss C1 Cube Geared Head is a three-axis panoramic head that allows using even the heaviest cameras with accuracy.

The Arca-Swiss C1 Cube has finely calibrated gearless panning adjustments under and above the ±30° x-y geared axes and adjustable tension controls. The two panoramic axes permit to first center the Cube’s controls to your position with the bottom axis, and then readjust the camera to point straight ahead with the upper axis. On top of the Cube are two sensitive bubble levels and a Arca-Swiss’ Classic style quick release clamp or an Arca-Swiss flipLock® quick release clamp which has its own advantages in compactness and security.

Despite its complexity, the C1 Cube has a 220lb load-bearing capacity and weighs only 2.19lb or 2.03lbs. Although universal, the Cube’s advantage lies in studio and work, where precise movements and adjustments are required. It is also suitable for macro photography as its design allows far fewer focusing readjustments while creating images. It essentially places the camera inside a sphere, as if the axes met at a point upon the image plane itself, with the camera rotating around a stationary image plane.
